Awards Recognize the Extraordinary Purpose-Driven Customers That Are Using Blackbaud Software to Fuel Impact
Blackbaud announced the winners of the Blackbaud Impact Awards today at bbcon 2024, its annual technology conference. The Blackbaud Impact Awards celebrate organizations and people achieving incredible results with Blackbaud software.
“Each of our award winners have shown how they are leveraging technology to maximize their impact for the communities and causes they serve,” said Todd Lant, chief customer officer, Blackbaud. “It is inspiring to see what our customers are accomplishing. We’re so proud to be a trusted partner in their journey with essential software that supports their missions and are thrilled to recognize their achievements through these awards.”
The 2024 Blackbaud Impact Award winners are:
- Adventist Health, for The Silo Buster Award. This award recognizes organizations using Blackbaud technology to create fully connected teams that are more aligned than ever. Adventist Health, a faith-based, nonprofit integrated health system, demonstrated their use of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT®, Blackbaud Online Express™, Blackbaud Luminate Online®, Research Point™, Blackbaud Website Package, and Omatic, a Blackbaud partner, to bring 25 markets into a single donor database with single donor records, creating a standardized, system-wide approach to managing donor data, prospect research and philanthropy communication.
- Turtle Creek Assocation, for The Changemaker Award. This award recognizes organizations that have embraced new tech capabilities to overcome challenges and deliver transformative results. Turtle Creek Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and enhancing Turtle Creek, used Blackbaud eTapestry® to significantly grow their membership base, increase engagement, optimize fundraising efforts, and improve operational efficiency so their small team can continue to have an outsized impact on the restoration and sustainability of a treasured local natural corridor.
- Jackson, for The Fueling Greatness Award. This award celebrates organizations that have leveraged Blackbaud technology to reach and surpass ambitious goals to truly amplify their impact. Jackson, a financial services company committed to helping clarify the complexity of retirement planning, showed how they use YourCause® CSRConnect® to create a data-driven strategy to revitalize employee volunteerism and deepen relationships with nonprofit partners, resulting in surpassing their 2023 employee volunteerism goal by 18 percentage points and impacting more than 400 nonprofits in communities across the United States.
- Combat Stress, for The Data Strategist Award. This award recognizes data-fluent organizations who have demonstrated how data-informed decisions have given them a greater edge, or improved their analytics, reporting, and communications. Combat Stress, a leading charity in the UK providing clinical treatment and support for veterans across all the British Armed Forces, used Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT to capture, analyze, and action on data that helped them create an award-winning stewardship program that has significantly grown pledge rates, new donor inquiries, average donation size, and lapsed donor re-engagement.
- University of Manitoba, for The Futurist Award. This award recognizes organizations that can share their story of technological exploration and creativity within Blackbaud’s flexible ecosystem. University of Manitoba, a research-intensive university in Canada that’s known for its excellence in research, scholarly work, and creative activities, showed us how they use Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT and SKY API to transform their most complex, time-consuming, and challenging set of business processes and workflows—gift processing.
- Katie M. Lewis, Executive Director, Burger King Foundation, for The Outstanding Leadership Award. This award honors executive-level leaders who empower their teams and drive organizational success. As Executive Director of the Burger King Foundation, a nonprofit focused on scholarships, literacy, and creating sustainable learning environments, Katie demonstrated strategic leadership that has reinvigorated relationships with stakeholders, bolstered innovation, and increased the Foundation’s impact on the students and communities it serves
