Blackbaud Recognized in Three Categories in 2024 DataIQ AI Awards

Blackbaud Named a Finalist for Best Use of AI for Not-For-Profit or Non-Commercial Purposes and Most Effective Use of Generative AI; Chief Data Officer Carrie Cobb Named One of the 100 Most Influential People in Data 

We’re proud to announce that Blackbaud was named a finalist in two categories in the inaugural DataIQ Awards. The awards recognize and celebrate individual achievements, team achievements, and ingenious solutions that genuinely provide beneficial impacts to the global community. The winners were selected by an experienced client-side judging panel of senior data practitioners who examined more than 170 submissions.

Blackbaud was shortlisted for Best Use of AI for Not-for-profit or Non-commercial Purposes for Blackbaud Prospect Insights, which uses powerful analytics and artificial intelligence within Blackbaud’s industry-leading fundraising platform, Raiser’s Edge NXT®, to enable nonprofits and social impact organizations to improve their prospective donor portfolios, streamline operations and raise more money for their important causes

Blackbaud was also shortlisted for Most Effective Use of Generative AI for AI for Blackbaud, the company’s strategic initiative focused on enabling employee impact through AI. The initiative is a collective effort, engaging every employee at Blackbaud in learning, experimenting, and ultimately driving the company’s AI-powered transformation.

In addition to this recognition, Blackbaud’s Chief Data Officer, Carrie Cobb, was honored as one of DataIQ’s 100 Most Influential People in DataCobb holds over 20 years of experience in developing data-driven analytic solutions, with the goal of leveraging advanced analytic methodologies and AI to create easy-to-execute strategies for the social impact community. As Chief Data Officer, Cobb leads Blackbaud’s Data Intelligence Center of Excellence, and is responsible for the company’s AI and data strategy, vertical-focused product innovation, data science and informatics disciplines, and data governance and ethics. She also serves as chair of the Advisory Council on Methodology for the Giving USA Foundation and serves on the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Nonprofit Alliance.
