Blackbaud Earns a 2022 Tech Cares Award from TrustRadius
Blackbaud is Recognized for its Corporate Social Responsibility Program with a 2022 Tech Cares Award from TrustRadius.
TrustRadius, a trusted research and review platform, has recognized Blackbaud with a 2022 Tech Cares Award. This third-annual award celebrates companies that have gone above and beyond to provide impactful corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs for their employees and surrounding communities.
“We’re honored to receive the TrustRadius Tech Cares award,” said Margaret “Maggie” Driscoll, chief people and culture officer, Blackbaud. “Blackbaud is for people who want to be part of a remote-first team committed to driving impact for social good.”
“Our people care deeply about making an impact in the world, and we’re honored to support and enable them through our CSR programs and the various ways we serve the social good community,” said Rachel Hutchisson, vice president, global social responsibility, Blackbaud.
Blackbaud was selected partially because of its Social Good Startup Program, aimed at supporting early-stage startups that contribute to the Ecosystem of Good®. Beyond this, Blackbaud is carbon neutral and transparent in its sustainability reporting. In addition, Blackbaud’s most recent Social Responsibility Report highlights that 91% of employees say the fact that Blackbaud operates in a socially responsible manner is important to them, and 55% of all Blackbaud’s new hires in 2021 came from historically underrepresented groups.
“We work tirelessly to foster a positive workplace culture that supports a diverse group of remote and in-office employees at TrustRadius. Tech leaders throughout the industry are embracing similar corporate social responsibility initiatives, and we’re excited to give them the recognition they deserve with a Tech Cares Award,” said TrustRadius Founder and CEO Vinay Bhagat. “We believe corporate social responsibility will continue to become more important each year for employees, customers, and stakeholders.”
To be accepted for the TrustRadius Tech Cares Award, each nominated organization had to be a B2B technology company that demonstrated impactful CSR initiatives in one of the following categories; volunteerism, diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, charitable donations and fundraising, support for in-office and remote employees, or environmental sustainability initiatives. Nominations were vetted by the TrustRadius research team, and supporting proof was provided by the nominated companies.
