Throughout the short video below, you’ll hear references to Raiser’s Edge NXT, web view, database view, and Raiser’s Edge 7. Here are some definitions to help:

• Raiser’s Edge NXT (or RENXT): This is an umbrella term used to refer to the whole Raiser’s Edge package you now have access to! With Raiser’s Edge NXT, you have access to the web view (new) and database view.

• Web view: The new view of Raiser’s Edge NXT that you will see after your activation.

• Database view: The view of Raiser’s Edge you were using before your activation. This is accessed by clicking on the database icon in the top right of web view and selecting Open database view from the menu. It is also called RE7 or RE Classic.

• Raiser’s Edge 7  (or RE7): This is another way to refer to the version of Raiser’s Edge that you’ve been using, also called Database View or RE Classic.
