K-12 Advisory Board

Julie Katz serves as the Registrar and Systems Manager at Donna Klein Jewish Academy (DKJA) in Boca Raton, Florida. With over 25 years of dedicated service in various roles at the school, she brings a deep understanding of DKJA’s operations and community, having also been a parent to a DKJA student from kindergarten through eighth grade.

Throughout her tenure, Julie has witnessed and contributed to the growth of Blackbaud’s systems within the school. Most notably, she led the significant transition from Education Edge to Blackbaud Education Management, successfully completing the implementation within a single year. Julie supports the Blackbaud suite of products at DKJA including Education Management, Raiser’s Edge (RENXT), Financial Edge (FENXT), Tuition Management, Blackbaud Merchant Services and all integrated software.

Julie joined the K-12 Advisory Board in 2024. She has been attending Blackbaud bbcon and BBK12 UC conferences since 2017 as an attendee and presenter. In addition to her role at DKJA, Julie dedicates her time to volunteering for a German shepherd rescue and enjoys time with her 21-year-old son and her two dogs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer graphics and photography from Hofstra University.
