Jason Hiett is an accomplished educational technology leader with over 27 years of experience in the independent school sector. As the Director of Technology for Lower and Middle Schools and the Director of Information Systems at Ensworth School, Jason oversees the integration of technology across the school’s academic and administrative functions. His expertise spans the Blackbaud applications, networking, classroom AV, database management, and technology integration, all aimed at enhancing the learning experience for students and supporting faculty in their work. Jason has previously served as the Director of Technology at Montgomery Bell Academy (TN) and University School (OH), each part of the Blackbaud school network, where he developed a strong foundation in educational technology systems.
Beyond his technical skills, he has also taught middle and high school technology classes and served as a student advisor, connecting with students and fostering a culture of innovation. His leadership extends to school-wide strategic planning, having served on the school’s leadership team and contributing to long-term technological vision and infrastructure development.
Jason holds a Bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech University, where he also played varsity football. He and his wife, Joy, have two children, Ellis and Sumner. Jason has coached football for 20+ years and enjoys golf.
