Development Director Carrie Fanelli shared her excitement about Prospect Insights, an essential artificial intelligence tool in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT®. With Prospect Insights, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT provides prescriptive guidance to help build and refine St. Joseph’s portfolio of major gift donors.

Facilitating Organization and Portfolio Management

“Prospect Insights is a very powerful tool that helps me stay organized and elevates my ability to stay focused on my top priorities,” said Fanelli. “I especially appreciate that I can take any action needed within the user interface and don’t have to go into another system. Not only does it make it easy, but it also makes me more efficient.”

Elevating the Process

Fanelli uses Prospect Insights to build and refine her major gift portfolio, as well as to clearly identify and help build individual donor strategies for her top 20 major gift donor prospects. “I previously had to export my list of prospects and conduct manual research to identify which were the best potential major donors,” she said. “Prospect Insights really elevates my process and keeps me focused in the best direction possible.”

Future of Fundraising with Artificial Intelligence

Fanelli also leverages the prescriptive recommendations to develop her fundraising strategy for the year. “I’m able to create sets of future actions for myself within the system,” she said. “I’m beyond excited about the potential fundraising opportunities that lie ahead and with Prospect Insights, I know we’ll be able to pursue major gifts more efficiently with confidence.”
