Saving Hours of Work

Since adopting Prospect Insights Pro, the staff has realized significant time savings thanks to automated, prescriptive recommendations provided by the software. “A tool like Prospect Insights Pro would’ve saved me hours of work when I was tasked with building our director of donor impact’s portfolio,” said Payne. “It makes the process of adding and removing prospects to portfolios much more efficient because I can easily identify those we may have missed and remove low likelihood prospects to support portfolio churn.”

Prioritizing Prospects Efficiently

Payne uses Prospect Insights Pro to build and refine portfolios for new gift officers who have received an established portfolio based on their predecessor’s history with the organization. “I no longer have to run additional queries and pull reports because the prescriptive recommendations based on our internal coding tell us who’s the most likely to give,” she said. “With just a click of my mouse, I can use data to explain why someone should be removed entirely or better prioritized. Boosting Up Gift Officers

Payne will also leverage the prescriptive recommendations for future fundraising challenges, such as the four-year “LevelUp” scholarship challenge in which donors would give more each year. “Prospect Insights Pro is a great tool when looking at a large group of potential donors,” Payne said. “The data gives gift officers more confidence in their outreach, which will make them have a better experience. They will then be able to establish great relationships and cultivate those prospects into donors and move the donors up each year.”
