Sudip Datta joined Blackbaud as its Chief Product Officer in April 2022 to oversee the company’s global product portfolio—including product lifecycles, roadmaps, and strategy—contributing to growth, innovation, and enhanced customer value. Since joining, Sudip has led the transformation of Blackbaud’s products, orienting them towards higher growth and greater customer value.

Sudip is a proven executive with more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software with a focus on products and technology. Prior to Blackbaud, Datta led the Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) and Observability business at Broadcom Inc. and was vice president of products at Oracle. Both at Oracle and at Broadcom, he drove revenue growth with a combination of organic and inorganic initiatives.

Originally from Kolkata, India, Sudip lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his family. A passionate volunteer leader and technology enthusiast, Sudip is a trusted advisor to various early-stage startups. He has been a speaker for the National Diversity Council’s California Chapter and an active participant with the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society. He is also involved with multiple nonprofits in India, particularly those serving the rural community. Sudip has an MBA and is an engineer by qualification.
