Executive Leadership

Chad Anderson joined Blackbaud in March 2013 and has served as Chief Accounting Officer since June 2022, with responsibility for overseeing accounting operations and ensuring the company’s financial health and compliance. During his tenure, Chad has successfully led many key and impactful projects to mature, modernize, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of the company’s financial systems, processes, and organization.

Prior to his current role, Chad served as Blackbaud’s corporate controller, overseeing global financial operations. Before that, Chad was an executive at Brightpoint Inc., a global provider of mobile device lifecycle services to the wireless industry. There, he served as vice president of finance for international operations and then chief financial officer of the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.

Anderson has a degree in finance from Indiana University. He is an active member of the Charleston community, serving on the board of and supporting multiple nonprofit organizations.
